4.3 hit with a bang, so a short update on how we did in 4.2. With only Ragnaros and Beth alive on heroic, we did very very well, and managed to gear up quite nicely in preparation for 4.3 which is now upon us. See you all in Dragon Soul, where I’m sure TBH will rock a great deal.

Short update, and long overdue. The Black Horde has been busy bees, and is now on 4/7 heroic. Bosses has gone down in short order since we got Ragnaros down on normal. While Shannox died on the second pull ever, the other bosses took a little bit more work, but Rhyolith, Alysrazor and Majordomo all bit the hot dirt, and burned their teeth. Next up is Baleroc. Fantastic progress everyone. We are now the third ranked guild on the server, if you take the time we raid into consideration. only 6 hours a week, makes this pretty impressive.
Looking forward to experiencing Beth’tilac and Baleroc as well. This is looking very solid, and we might actually see all the heroic bosses before 4.3 comes along. On a side note, the Black Horde is also established as a Star Wars: The Old Republic guild, so if you’re an oldie TBHer, feel free to drop by at http://www.swtor.com/guilds/91344/black-horde or send one of the officers a PM to be accepted in.
no comments Tier 12 normals cleared
So, the most humongous nerfs ever hit live, and stuff obviously fell over. First 6 cleared in 90 minutes, and raggy down in an hour more. Good job everyone, and now we got a spare raid night, with nothing to fill it with. Looking forward to heroics no comments Firelands got released, and some of us was on holiday, so we missed the beginning rush, but caught up with style. 6 bosses down so far, and only Alyzrazor caused much trouble, but even he died within 2 nights. Firelands is good fun so far, even with the at time silly amounts of trash. Majordomo was the last to die, within an hour of us starting, so good work everyone, and a completely new and original boss up next. ![]() Baleroc
And finally: Majordomo ![]() http://i.imgur.com/gemA9.jpg no comments After around 5 hours of wipes, Nefarian had to bite the dirt after a stellar performance by everyone. Actually seemed esasy in the end, although I doubt Forest, Los and Seindra would agree on that. In any case, it marks the end of normal modes for The Black Horde, with everything cleared. Everyone have done very well, and kept at it through the horrible horrible weeks where we were doing progression on Al’Akir. The other bosses didn’t pose too many problems, most dying the first night they were tried with the exception of the end bosses. To sum up, Blizzard did a great job with this tier of raiding with a few exceptions, most notably Al’Akir. BWD is a blast. Every single boss seems unique and fun in it’s own way, and Nefarian is probably my favourite. Finally we would like to thank everyone who participated, not only in the kill but in all the raids leading up to this. And to the poor sods that had to be queued. Amazing work everyone. Here’s the killshot:
But wait, there’s more! We still had an hour left of our raid after killing Nef, so we thought we might give heroics a go, and Halfus was down soon there after. Pretty fun fight on heroic, with a lot of damage going around. We ended up going with 3 tanks, which worked pretty well. Again, great job especially by the healers. Was more than a bit of damage going around. KILLSHOT!
